  • Identification data

    Identifier:  TFG:5172
    Authors:  Pomar Santandreu, Caterina
    Abstract:
Adolescence involves constant biological and psychological changes, such as the development of abstract thinking. This is a delicate time for adolescents, as a lot of variables can contribute to cannabis use, which is the most popular drug. To establish effective prevention strategies, it is essential to review all adolescent risk factors. For this reason, a systematic review of twenty-two studies, selected based on previously established criteria, has been conducted. Age, gender, peer influence, family structure and mental health have been identified as influential risk factors. This review is a step toward the development of effective school and family prevention strategies.
