Abstract:
During December 2019, SARS-CoV-2 appeared and to fight against this new coronavirus, new health protocols were created to adapt to the new situation. In this work, the behavior of SARS-CoV-2 throughout the fifth and sixth waves of pandemic was studied and the results were compared to the indications of the health protocols that the Generalitat de Catalunya published. The results indicate that the recommended quarantine for the fifth wave is enough (10 days) but in the sixth wave (7 days) it is insufficient for the virus clearance.
