Abstract: The purpose of this research is to find out if machine translations are sexist. In addition, throughout the project, Google Translate and DeepL will be tested in order to answer the hypothesis question “DeepL is much more sexist than Google Translate”. This investigation will be divided into five parts (literature review, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion). The literature review is where I got the background information about the main topic from different authors, linguists, translators... The methodology section explains the following two sections and how are they going to be done. Testing both MTs is crucial in the development of the project. The last part is the conclusion of this project which will include some recommendations for future research.
