Abstract: This project relates how visual media, through the concept of mediations, can help us to put into context the narrative about how humankind has affected the environment in the Anthropocene epoch. On this behalf, this project attempts to shed light on the concept of mediations as a tool for raising knowledge. The theory will be applied to the climate-emergency situation in the ‘Delta de l’Ebre’. In the same line, it will be exemplified why mediations in the Delta are interpreted as a tool to ‘mediate’, a tool able to reconnect cognition and emotion to move from the understanding of a crisis to the feeling of such crisis.
