Abstract: This project involves finding what was the role of the chosen people in the United States from Manifest Destiny to Imperialism. The goal is to analyze the different events of American history intending to discover how religious ideas shaped America. To do so, I examine different events chronologically. When all these events are examined, it becomes clear that religion has been a fundamental element in American history as it has been shaped according to the Bible. Thus, it can be shown that all the events were justified by religion and also by the chosen people; since they believed that their actions were justified as being God's mission.
