    Abstract:
In a strongly urbanized context, defined by the conurbation of the Reus-Tarragona-Valls system, a dispersed growth based on land consumption and a constantly growing infrastructure system, a territorially productive plain is located that is beginning to weaken its relevance .Following the disjointed trinomial formed by infrastructures, industrial estates and garden cities, the populations located between the three large urban centers persist in a growth isolated from the rest of the settlements in the territory, becoming an autonomous system. The reflection in the area vindicates the traditional pre-anthropic and anthropized landscape of the great productive fabric in front of a projection of an extensive degrading system. Recognizing the existence of vernacular built elements as habitable elements, resolving the conflicts of transversal crossings and reactivating the productive fabric are the guidelines for deliberately shaping the social cohesion program of the territorial space. A look based on a change in habits as the key to livability, and therefore as an architect.
