    Abstract:
The aim of the work is to identify if there are significant differences between personality and stress coping strategies. We conducted a survey with a total sample of 104 people, of which 39 were men and 65 women, aged between 18 and 71. Significant and positive correlations were found between high scores in extraversion, agreeableness, and responsibility and problem-focused coping. Likewise, high neuroticism scores correlated positively with emotion-focused coping and negatively with problem-focused coping. Otherwise, no significant correlations were found in biological sex.
