The influence of gut tracts, sex and microbiota on the expression of oxytocin and its receptor

    Identifier:  TFG:6611
    Authors:  Alejandra Marín Ruiz
    Abstract:
The project is based on understanding the variation in the expression of oxytocin and its receptor as a function of sex, intestinal tract and microbiota. To do this, sections of the ileum and colon of conventional male and female mice were initially compared. To study the influence of the microbiota, the ileum and colon of mice without microbiota were then compared with conventional mice.
