Abstract:
In recent years, there have been many movements, such as the "Escola nova 21" program, which have arisen calling for a change in the current teaching and learning process. One of the aims to be achieved with the implementation of this new methodology is to respect the rhythm of the students by making the adaptations, as well as to suppress traditional resources, such as textbooks. All in all, the present work takes a small tour of the history of education, focusing mainly on the "Escola Nova 21" movement, which became the reference model for many centers.
