    Abstract:
Breast cancer, one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality in women, exhibits distinctive metabolic reprogramming between molecular subtypes. This study explored metabolic changes in luminal A and B breast cancer patients. Differences in metabolites were found between peritumoral and tumor tissues that help to understand the behavior of the disease. Furthermore, specific biomarkers for luminal BC were identified and differences between luminal A and B subtypes were observed. The findings emphasize the importance of clinical and pathophysiological factors in understanding the unique features of luminal BC subtypes, offering new insights for diagnosis and treatment.
