    Abstract:
Nowadays, more and more people are developing resistance to some antibiotics due to their incorrect use, which is causing a big problem for the treatment of some infections. So, being able to quantify in near real-time with electrochemical analysis can be very beneficial. This study focuses on evaluating the performance of electrochemical sensors for the detection of two antibiotics, vancomycin and meropenem. Preliminary results of measurements performed in both artificial sweat and artificial interstitial fluid are shown below. The study concludes by discussing the limitations and promising prospects observed for the two antibiotics.
