The Crown in Spanish: what gets lost in translation and dubbing

Abstract:
This research paper focuses on a study of the different versions of the first chapter of the first season of the Netflix TV series The Crown. The study will be done over a corpus-based translation. This translation will be divided into translation shifts, classified into different translation techniques. Nowadays that we live in a globalized world, TV series from around the world are at our scope. In order to approach those TV series to other cultures, translators and dubbers play an essential role in this world of translation.
