  • Identification data

    Identifier:  TFG:7557
Authors:  Llambrich Vidal, Mónica; Moreno Santacruz, Irene
    Abstract:
PCOS is an endocrine pathology that affects multiple devices and systems, some of which you may still be aware of. Therefore, this work is carried out to raise awareness of the psychiatric comorbidities evident in this syndrome. It is estimated that women with PCOS have twice the risk of developing a psychiatric disorder than women without PCOS. Understanding the underlying causes of the relationship between PCOS and mental health is crucial to developing more effective prevention and treatment strategies. Future research should focus on exploring the biological and psychosocial mechanisms that contribute to this association.
