Calculation of the effects of voltage unbalances in a three phase induction motor

    Abstract:
    This work has as aim calculate the effect on the torque and in the current, which provoke the tension unbalances in a three phase induction motor. To do the calculations it will be used the mathematical model in three phase induction motor in steady state, used on a total of 870 of unbalance points of different types and severities. To perform the calculations it has been used the calculator of Microsoft Excel 2010. The work will consist in classify and quantify the voltage unbalances and make the criteria and the selection of analyzed unbalances points. It will also contain the effects of unbalances in the currents and on the torque of a three phase induction motor. In the end, there will be the calculations of the current unbalance factor and the torque unbalance factor in a three phase induction motor for the analyzed unbalances points and the analysis of the obtained results.
