Abstract:
Summary Increasing age for several years in the population in the future will affect a large number of people and will have a major impact on the health system. So know what the needs of this group are it will be necessary to respond to their demands. Therefore we want to identify the perception, experience, difficulties, problems, meaning that people over 65 have to live alone. Thus investigate the role of health, disease, family and social relationships, leisure, and mood and how they face in their daily lives. The type of study will be explanatory-interpretative where individual interviews will be conducted with a group of people over 65 years. The analysis technique is qualitative methodology through in-depth interviews. The type of thematic analysis of language will be following the constructivist grounded theory that analyzes individual interviews, also called grounded theory or method of constant comparisons. Emerging themes are loneliness, autonomy within the home, autonomy outside the home, leisure activities, food and visual and auditory deficits. The creation of activities to promote health and to meet the demands of this sector of the population affecting the results to achieve well-being and comfort for all these people living alone will be.
