Authors:  BAIGES GAYA, GERARD; DJEMMAH IMANE
    Abstract:
Excessive intake of energy from high-caloric foods and low nutritional value is a major problem in industrialized societies, since they cause the appearance of diseases, such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). These pathologies have in common pathophysiological features and molecular mechanisms related to inflammation and oxidation. The aim of this study was to observe the effects of the deficiency of the chemokine CCL2 in the metabolism of an animal model with oxidative stress and hyperlipidemia, as well as to assess the influence of dietary factor.
