Abstract: Resumen El Trastorno de Espectro Autista (TEA) de un niño provoca una alteración en la dinámica familiar. En este proyecto de investigación se pretende estudiar cómo afecta la enfermedad a los progenitores. Se realizará un estudio de campo, observacional, descriptivo, comparativo y transversal, de metodología mixta. Tendrá lugar en asociaciones de Castellón y Valencia, su duración será aproximadamente de seis meses. Los sujetos del estudio serán los padres y madres de las asociaciones que cumplan y acepten los criterios de inclusión. El procedimiento de recogida de datos se basará en la realización de una entrevista, la escala de Golberg para evaluar el riesgo de ansiedad y depresión y en un cuestionario específico Cuestionario de impacto familiar de Donenberg y Baker. Estos instrumentos permitirán realizar un análisis de las necesidades específicas de cada familia y de la percepción del impacto del niño en cada uno de sus progenitores. Con los datos y resutados obtenidos compararemos las diferencias existentes entre padres y madres. Autism in a child causes a change in family dynamics.
