The importance of influencing the tourists' perception of a destination by implementing a strategic marketing plan

    Abstract:
    This work has the aim of analyzing the importance of making a marketing plan for a destination to influence the perception that potential tourists have over a specific destination and therefore attract more tourists to the place. To do so, bibliographic research has been conducted and a series of interviews with professionals in the sector has been done. Moreover, a marketing plan for Costa Daurada has been suggested, to demonstrate with a practical example what had previously been stated.
