Abstract:
The French government takes in 2016 the initiative to make a policy innovation creating a new regions. The region Grand Est is one of the 13 new French regions, unifying the 3 ancient regions Alsace, Loraine, Champagne-Ardennes. This study examines the opportunity to develop it to a sustainable Health Tourism destination. The result of this study was not positive as expected. Both secondary data and primary data analysis deliver in accordance with reliability and validity standards, converging results. This development policy regarding Health Tourism and its sustainability in the Grand Est region should be reconsidered.
