Title in different languages: Effect of meteorological variables and air quality on SARS-CoV-2 transmission
Abstract: COVID-19 pandemic produced by the transmission of SARS-CoV-2 has spread rapidly and most of the worldwide population has been affected due to insufficient response. PROCEED, a public project funded by national government involves the creation of augmented epidemiological model. As part of PROCEED, the project is focuses on Catalonia to develop and validate the model and refers to environment (meteorological and air quality conditions) in lockdown and pandemic periods. Overall, it has been demonstrated that atmospheric environmental parameters have correlate with COVID-19 propagation and the best model to predict COVID-19 has been given by a specific Àrees bàsiques de salut.
