Abstract: This thesis will focus on redox flow battery as an energy storage solution that is cheap, long-living, and sustainable. The flow battery is continuously improved by scientists until it reached a stage that can compete against Lithium battery which is at the top of modern battery technology. These enhancements in flow battery designs lowered the production costs that reached as low as $200 per kWh, because of using common earth-abundant materials such as Iron, Zinc, and salts Aquesta tesi se centrarà en la bateria de flux redox com a solució d'emmagatzematge d'energia barata, de llarga vida i sostenible. Els científics milloren contínuament la bateria de flux fins que arriba a una etapa que pot competir amb la bateria de liti, que es troba a la part superior de la tecnologia de bateria moderna. Aquestes millores en els dissenys de bateries de flux van reduir els costos de producció que van arribar als 200 dòlars per kWh, a causa de l'ús de materials comuns abundants en terra com ara ferro, zinc i sals.
