Abstract: Through the conceptual framework of Dorothea Orem, we will learn about Charcot Marie Tooth Disease, being the most common degenerative hereditary diabetic neuroarthropathy in Spain.. It is characterized by being a rare disease, specifically a sensory-motor, demyelinating or axonal polyneuropathic syndrome. There is a strong association between tobacco consumption and the presence of neuropathic diseases, as well as cardiovascular, macro and microvascular complications in the lower limb.
