Abstract: The main objective of this project is the design of a cooling tower in one of the chemical plants within the Tarragona complex. This chemical plant will increase its load capacity due to the growing market demand and, for this purpose, will install new units. These new units will consume a quantity of cooling water that requires a new installation. L'objectiu principal d'aquest projecte és el disseny d'una torre de refrigeració en una de les plantes químiques del complex de Tarragona. Aquesta planta química augmentarà la seva capacitat de càrrega a causa de la creixent demanda del mercat i, amb aquesta finalitat, instal·larà noves unitats. Aquestes noves unitats consumiran una quantitat d'aigua de refrigeració que requereix una nova instal·lació.
