Abstract: Neuropsychology in the context of COVID-19 has aroused interest due to the neuropsychological alterations observed in affected patients. This viral disease can affect the central nervous system, leading to neuropsychological symptoms. Neuropsychology evaluates, diagnoses and treats cognitive and emotional problems related to brain disorders. The present work studies three clinical cases, alterations were observed in different cognitive functions, such as memory and executive functions. This suggests that COVID-19 may have significant neuropsychological effects and more research is required to understand the underlying mechanisms and develop appropriate treatments. La neuropsicología en el contexto de la COVID-19 ha despertado interés debido a las alteraciones neuropsicológicas observadas en pacientes afectados. Esta enfermedad viral puede afectar el sistema nervioso central, dando lugar a síntomas neuropsicológicos. La neuropsicología evalúa, diagnostica y trata los problemas cognitivos y emocionales relacionados con las alteraciones cerebrales. El presente trabajo estudia tres casos clínicos, se observaron alteraciones en distintas funciones cognitivas, como la memoria y las funciones ejecutivas. Esto sugiere que la COVID-19 puede tener efectos neuropsicológicos significativos y se requiere más investigación para comprender los mecanismos subyacentes y desarrollar tratamientos adecuados.
