    Abstract: This Final Master dissertation focuses on the study of the phenomenon of Crowdfunding or collective financing. Includes an analysis of collective financing or crowdfunding platforms, in order to be able to explain its definition, categorize and analyse the different operation models, their participants, benefits, drawbacks and motivations for their use. Considering a survey of entrepreneurs in Catalonia, the aim is to analyse the opinions and impact of these financing models when business financing is needed. Entrepreneurs value the advantages of crowdfunding, but consider exits a lack of information and knowledge on the subject. It also provides a database of the current platforms of the different crowdfunding models found in Spain.
