Abstract: Benchmarking personal cloud storage systems In the last few years, lots of different Personal Cloud Storage solutions have appeared. As most of them are private companies, it is difficult to understand how they work. This thesis shows the creation of a benchmark tool, which consists in a serie of different tests to perform with the Cloud Storage client. Each test puts the Cloud Storage into different environments in order to achieve an specific goal. Once the tests are done, lots of information can be extracted and processed to understand the behaviour of the Clouds, as well as the different techniques each Cloud implement.
