Abstract:
This Master’s dissertation elaborates the procedure of conducting an entire specialised translation project. The project implied following a list of tasks each student had to fulfil. These tasks simulated the requirements that are necessary for a translator to complete a translation job in an actual professional environment. Therefore, the process of translating a scientific article named Climate change and political cartoons is exposed in detail in this Master’s thesis. Through the chapters that explain the management and the translation aspects of the translation profession, the knowledge obtained during the University of Tarragona’s Masters in Professional Translation programme is successfully presented.
