    The main purpose of this article is to present the tenets of Endogenous Growth theory, which establishes that the society is crucial in the process of development, especially its capacity to cooperate and to mobilize its own capacity of innovation. Therefore the society emerges like a necessary and crucial element in the process of innovation, contributing to foster the competitiveness of industrial activity developed in a specifi c geographical area or region
