Abstract: Vulcanized waste rubber due to its stable, cross-linked and three-dimensional structural arrangement is difficult to biodegrade, posing a serious environmental problem. This article proposes a new composite material from a reused tire particle base (GTR) as an elastomer and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) as a matrix. LLDPE has good electrical and mechanical properties, good resistance to breakage and cracking due to environmental stress, as well as low cost. For this analysis, used, crushed and separated tire particles with a particle size p <200 μm have been used, which has been mixed with LLDPE in different concentrations (0%, at 70% GTR), and then, by the Dynamic Electric Analysis (DEA) study its dielectric behavior in a temperature range of 30°C, 100°C and 120°C, and frequencies between l-10 Hz, and 3-10 Hz, obtaining the permittivity conductivity, dielectric constant, modulus electric. The results denote an insulating behavior presented by LLDPE+GTR with low GTR contents (5% to 10% GTR), which could be used as an electrical insulator in applications with low requirements, such as spacers or pipes for electrical cables, and special AC motors. -2 6
