Abstract: The article studies the graphic work of Mariano Fortuny that represents Tangier. The subject of a certain number of drawings is identified and the date of execution of some of them is specified. These works are compared with those of Francisco Lameyer's African Theme Drawings Album, showing the differences in both artists' approaches to outdoor work and the visual itinerary through Tangerian spaces that caught their attention.
