Los bancos de tierras en la des/reagrarización: una mirada etnográfica a los programas públicos de acceso a la tierra en Cataluña

    Abstract:
This article develops an ethnopgraphic analysis of different local Land Banks (LB) in Catalonia. The interest from the local scale in these public programs aimed at facilitating access to land to alleviate deagrarianisation processes, draws heterogeneous strategies of re-agrarianisation and land access that are adapted to different local agrarian systems. Discourses behind these strategies question the construction of land as a commodity and a natural resource, its enclosure and its exclusion regimes. The precarious structures that hold these tools, their political support and their coexistence with other land access programs, as well as the imaginaries and the moral economy of those whose land falls into disuse, become explanatory elements of BDT potentiality and their survival probabilities in the contemporary de/re-agrarianisation context.
