Resumen:
Vinhos Verdes Demarcated Region is rich in cultural approaches -from buildings, to anthropology; from historical heritage to the documents and memories -that shows a millenary history made from the own resources and the dedication of the northwest [Minho] people to his own survival. We intend to look to those resources, particularly, but also together, as a mix of cultures that can be presented to the tourist as a whole [lagares, centenary vines, and structures of wine making, farms and estates]. As an important wine tourism destiny, Oporto and Northern Portugal [that combine two major wine regions: Douro and Minho, apart from Trs-os-Montes and the border with Spain] it becomes essential to qualify this destiny, bringing its historical content to the table and investing in quality of the scientific information that tourist receives. This proposal is integrated in a wider route on which this historical past is revisited; secondly the memory dimension is considered on people, houses and objects, forming a living landscape that contributes to a larger debate about Wine Tourism in Vinhos Verdes Region.
