Resumen:
The aim of this article is to analyze the accusations of hate crimes in which the alleged victims are members of the State Security Forces and Corps in the context of the pro-independence process in Catalonia. The aim is to show the political use that has been made of these crimes and, on a more theoretical level, to draw some conclusions regarding the characterization of non-formal states of exception. To this end, documents from state institutions (sentences, instructions, guidelines, etc.) or, in default of these, journalistic reports, complemented by secondary bibliography specialized in the subject, have been resorted. From the exposition, some conclusions are drawn about the relationship between law and politics.
