Resumen: This article presents the results of research focused on the Catalan language and the improvement of the level of reading comprehension through the implementation of learning and knowledge technologies (LKT). The Snappet educational digital platform was chosen to work on reading and comprehension in the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade groups of primary education at La Floresta school. The subjects were evaluated by means of the pre-test and post-test evaluation of reading comprehension (Catal & agrave; et al., 1996) according to their level of learning, and not the course they are taking according to their biological age. The research was framed within the positivist paradigm with the intention of explaining the phenomena of a specific reality (Bisquerra Alzina et al., 2009). The results show that two-thirds of the students have improved their reading comprehension level from one to four grades, and that the group averages have positively improved and have reached normal levels. It can be concluded that the Snappet digital educational platform and LKT are an educational resource by which teachers put technology at the service of students with the aim of facilitating the learning of a language and accessing knowledge.
