Abstract:
This volume contributes to the debate on health among young people, which is important in the social sciences in general and in particular to medical anthropology, due to the number of different elements that are involved in the processes of health, illness and healthcare among young people, and the sophisticated relations between them. The debate is also important because it has public implications; that is, health policies aimed at young people need to be based less on prejudice, stigma and contemporary social alarmism, and much more on a rigorous knowledge of the various realities that configure relations between young people and health.
