    Resum:
This research analyzes the internationalization of domestic work, focusing on the case of Latin American migrants living and working in Catalonia. Domestic work is socially undervalued, strongly feminized and characterized by poor working conditions. I therefore explore the growing internationalisation and marketization of reproductive labour as a form of stratified reproduction in the context of globalization. The main objective of this research is to analyze the social construction of domestic work and how it determines who performs it and under what conditions. The starting point is that the domestic sphere constitutes a locus for stratified reproduction. Thus, I examine the experience of Latin American migrant women employed as domestic workers and the specific forms of their health/illness/care process. The research has been done from an anthropological perspective. Qualitative data was collected taking into account the different agents and institutions that currently shape domestic work in Spain and Catalonia.
