Resum:
This work is entitled “Influence and projection of the Andean worldview in the theoretical and methodological foundations of textile design”. Its main objective is to identify according to socio-cultural contributions, the symbolism, the worldview and the Andean Hermeneuticsn the Ecuador, It his influence and projection in textile designs. There is a need to rethink the creative processes from the Andean knowledge, seeking the wealth of being and of native American knowledge, away from the current dominance of the Western approach to thinking, exploring on the expressive-creative product of complex abstractions of the components of the Andean design fundamentals, observing these languages of forms and meanings through the conceptual, intellectual and expressive design of the andean textile.The work was observational experiential ethnographic; methodological on bibliographic documentary consultations, specialized publications and databases; and exploratory. Completed research, were unable to identify the symbolic, hermeneutical and worldview components Andean from its socio-cultural structure. Established a graphic-compositional approach of Andean textile designs. The fundamentals of design was developed based on its construction theoretical-practical and conducted a methodological proposal between the images and the Ecuadorian worldview.
