Digital technologies are present in the daily lives of all citizens and have led to changes in both the personal and work environment. That is why we need to rethink the training of students to respond to new social demands. In this context, one of the essential competences is digital competence (CD). A higher education institution such as the Universitat Rovira i Virgili has to ensure the quality of the training students receive and efforts have to be made to adapt it to the reality of the moment. The ultimate purpose of this work is to design an institutional strategy for the development of the CD through a qualitative methodology, and taking as *refència the results of : (1) a systematic analysis of the literature
