The research was carried out in the Isla Santay National Recreation and Tourist Destination Area, influencing an area that encompasses the cantons of Durán and Guayaquil in Ecuador. There are some macro-sectoral problems such as exaggerated pollution due to excessive vehicular traffic between Guayaquil and Durán, Guayaquil Samborondón and vice versa, affecting the population and habitat of Santay Island, 'RAMSAR Type I Wetland' which in turn has It has been declared a 'National Recreation Area' that integrates it into the National System of SNAP protected areas. To this end, the research aims to: Establish a proposal for intelligent sustainable tourism development, called 'Ciclopista Solar Durán-Santay-Guayaquil- CPS-DSG' in order to potentiate and benefit the area of influence of the destination. It establishes to be a community tourism proposal, with ecological mobility and intelligent sustainable tourism, in relation to this, it proposes to transform pedestrian bridges into mobility tunnels with day and night security, biosecurity, optimal air conditioning, free of contamination, applying intelligent technology, such as use of photovoltaic energy, Datamining, ecological temperature exchanger, electric bicycles, among other aspects that make the proposal pertinent and feasible for its execution, and that link it to the proposal from the concept of the DTI intelligent tourist destination. The phenomenological scientific research methodology was used for case studies, applying the mixed qualitative-quantitative approach, the type of research is field, applying data collection instruments, non-probabilistic-intentional sampling was handled, using measurement tools. Empirical data collection, such as the survey and interview. The retrospective-transversal-observational research design was used. On the other hand, the research has been enriched through the collection of bibliographic information and field observation in situ, in addition to the proposal that leads to technical experimental structuring.
