    Resum:
Sex-gender diversity remains poorly understood and controversia! in Ecuador. LGBTI+ people face a lack of socialization spaces, which hinders their visibility and community building. Although homosexuality was decriminalized in 1997, opportunities for the construction of subjectivities and public participation continue to be limited. This context justifies the need to study how reading practices can influence the construction of queer identities and the creation of socialization spaces. This project aims to translate inclusion policies into pedagogical tools that promote sex-gender diversity in safe socialization spaces, both formal and informal. The study combines Queer Theory, Phenomenology, and Semiotics, with an ethnographic approach. Participan! observation was conducted in queer reading clubs in Quito, and participants and experts were interviewed to reconstruct the Ecuadorian context. The analysis was based on models of social semiosis and semiosphere to understand the social construction of meaning in these reading practices. As a final product, a digital pedagogical kit was developed for educators and cultural mediators.
