    Abstract:
    The process consumption, which is comprised of activities like storage, the food processing or the intake food, is an identity element and with a big importance in the management daily activities. The aim of this thesis has been to approach the manner in which this process is identified in the archeological record, its structuring within the Iberian culture. This research has been addressed on the basis of the analysis several archeological sites in the area of Catalonia (north, center-south and west). These settlements have been chosen on the basis of their geographical, functional and structural characteristics. The composition’s context, equipments and artifacts, will lead to characterization each space and the knowledge of the action developed inside. All this to end with understanding the configuration of this process within each settlement, the existence of areas specialize to some of these activities and its distribution in the different homes. This analysis has allowed us to approximate to process consumption in the Iberian culture, within the everyday sphere; it is what we repeat each day.
