Abstract:
This final document seeks to present to the academic community the results found in the doctoral thesis: 'Pedagogical references for the use and appropriation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) within the educational processes planned and developed by higher education teachers”. The objective of this thesis was to 'State and validate pedagogical references for the proper use and necessary appropriation of Information and Communication Technologies in the educational processes planned and developed by the higher education teachers of the Faculties of Engineering at the Francisco José de Caldas District University, La Salle university and the Technological School, Central Technical Institute of Bogotá, Colombia. The methodology was broadly framed as a research based on design and followed the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model to meet all the objectives. The final result of this thesis, is the creation of a model that allows teachers of engineering faculties to adapt virtual learning classrooms, the development of virtual learning objects or the creation of educational web resources; This model has been denominated: 4P Model; It was called like that, because its essence is based on four pillars, considered as a harmonious symphony; These pillars are: pedagogical, didactic, technical and design; Considering the last one under two important aspects: instructional design and graphic design. The model was tested with a group of teachers of the engineering faculty, through the creation of a diploma, composed of four modules and centralized in the Moodle platform; During 120 hours, the 4P model was socialized and started up, in the different products made by the participating teachers.
