Abstract:
Cultural adaptation and psychometric validation of the caring efficacy scale in Italian nurses Caring is the essence of nursing practice. Caring Efficacy scale was developed with the purpose of measure perceived nurses’ self-efficacy in orienting and maintaining caring relationships with patients. As in Italy there is no instrument measuring caring self-efficacy, the study aimed to perform cultural adaptation and validation of the Caring Efficacy scale in a sample of Italian nurses. A self-reported questionnaire was administered to 300 registered nurses.
