Abstract:
The present investigation proposes itself the critical analysis of the exterior action of the Governments of the Autonomous government of Catalonia during the period (2003-2010), in which tripartite coalitions of government are formed. The object is to determine if the strategies and the actions realized in this field, answer to the model of a structure of condition, in spite of being compatible with the constitutional autonomous frame. The recovery of Catalonia like nation and the viability of a secessionist option of the Spanish condition, to shape a new condition in the frame of the European Union, if this one is the democratic will, does necessarily to determine, if the strategies and structures developed during the governments of the tripartite one, under the direction principally of Esquerra Republicana of Catalonia, allow to achieve an exterior proactive and modern action on the part of the Government of the Autonomous government of Catalonia, without the classic limits in this area. Addressing these issues needed as a first step a historical analysis of the political and social situation in Catalonia, especially in more recent times of reviewing contemporary history republican periods of the Franco dictatorship and the resumption of self-government with the governments of Jordi Pujol.
