Abstract:
The thesis 'Between reformism and the struggle for independence. Nationalism in northern Morocco (1912-1956) ', has as its main objective to study the evolution of the Moroccan nationalist movement, in the northern part of the Morocco, specifically in the former Spanish Protectorate of Morocco. Spain established, in 1912, a Protectorate in the Mediterranean coast of the Maghreb country, around Ceuta and Melilla. The territory that corresponded to 5% of the total of the area of ​​Morocco, and where, in 1950, 1,010,117 people lived (11% of the population as a whole). the remaining of pre-colonial Morocco was colonized by France.
