    Abstract:
The thesis, titled 'Analysis of the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Tourist Satisfaction: A Case Study of Visitors of Costa Daurada, South Catalonia,' explores the effects of the pandemic on tourist satisfaction. Focusing on the significant decline in tourist arrivals and shifts in visitor behaviour, the study employs a multi-study, multi-method approach. It examines tourists' reliance on safety, the impact of COVID-19 prevention measures, and the effect of travel plan changes on satisfaction. The findings reveal that while traditional satisfaction determinants remained important, safety concerns became crucial during the pandemic. Tourists who adapted their plans reported higher satisfaction levels, emphasizing the need for destinations to prioritize safety, adaptability, and clear communication to maintain trust and satisfaction in future crises.
