    Resumen:
The river valleys of Matarranya-Algars, the Ebro in its final stretch, the mouth of the Senia and the associated territories, such as the Priorat or the plain of Baix Maestrat, will be implemented from sedentary formulations, approximately ,in the line of 700 BC. Since this change of lifestyle, land exploit and relationship will start the different paths towards the consolidation of political and socially complex communities. Our research analyzes this process from the beginning, during the last centuries of the Bronze Age, until the appearance of oppida. We try to determine if special emphasis on relationships within communities and among them are hierarchical or heterarchical. From this we analyze what are the political forms that can best adapt to each stage: local communities, groups of big men, simple and complex chiefdoms and archaic states or their analogs.
