    Resumen:
The work is organized presentation of the background research; an introduction that accounts for the problematic relationship between representation, image and diseased body as recorded by the dermatology clinic in Spain and Colombia, presents analysis models and methodology implemented in the work that crossed history, medicine, anthropology and semiotics; continuing the work with the relation between icon, sign and disease that crosses the symbolic forms of representation staged in the diseased body skin pathology. In this section the construction of the body of modernity in the anatomical thought in Europe that opens Andreas Vesalius his research present in his book factory human body is shown, continue with the anatomical theaters, anatomical venus and clinical sensationalism late eighteenth century and early nineteenth centuries that are a condition of possibility and existence of dermatologic look of the nineteenth century; an important point that wanted to emphasize in this historical development of anatomical thought is its deconstruction in a episteme and physiology of the difference in America linked to the processes of coloniality of power where an anatomical thinking leads to a raciológica semiotic reading skin colonized communities and classified during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. It was allocated a place to study dermatologic medical practice about the disease as a sign and symbolic forms of diseased body, where the constitution of discursive spaces of intelligibility pain seen the agony and the effects of the disease on the body. The use of images (drawings or photographs) shows a link between spelling and taxonomy in clinical practice trying to touch and look (haptic dimension) the morbid state, in a specific space of intelligibility: the photographic device and medical image portray bodies and looks. The epilogue of the book provides analytical perspectives that project on the possibilities of an open reading to understand the relationship between body, society and disease.
