Resumen:
Chronic kidney disease (MRC) is a major challenge for public health systems. The CKD patients metabolic alterations caused by renal dysfunction itself, which is reflected in his clinic and are closely linked with the state of oxidative stress suffered. This work aims to study the level of oxidative stress in the MRC in two phases: before it required dialysis and dialysis patients, as well as determining the metabolic changes resulting from the MRC. The traditional clinical biomarkers of renal function (serum creatinine and blood urea) are not sufficiently sensitive or specific and only increase significantly when the MRC is in advanced stages. Therefore, we need more sensitive biomarkers of early MRC. These specific biomarkers could also allow early diagnosis of kidney disease and improve the therapeutic treatment, with the consequent reduction of the personal and economic burden. With metabolomics, we can study the metabolic profiles of patients in order to find new biomarkers of disease. Also in this study assesses the possible relationship between the state and the oxidative metabolic profile and the etiology of MRC, as well as the relationship between these profiles differentials and changes that normally accompany the MRC
