    Resumen:
    The introduction of information and communication technologies in sectors such as education provides new opportunities for teaching and learning, however, its implementation means that workers must learn to adapt to its use. The demands imposed by the use of information and communication technologies, especially during teleworking, can generate stress associated with their use, which is called technostress. There are precursor factors and inhibitory factors of technostress, called techno-stressors and techno-inhibitors. Technostress can cause consequences at the individual, work and organizational levels. The main objective of this doctoral thesis was to measure the manifestations of technostress, and establish correlations with demographic variables, and with techno-stressors and techno-inhibitors, in male and female workers of child, primary and secondary education institutions in Chile. To meet this objective, three studies were carried out, in which psychometric measurement instruments were applied, validated in the studied samples, together with the consultation of sociodemographic and labor information to the participants, who, in Studies 1 and 2, they corresponded to teachers of primary and secondary education, and in Study 3, to directors of early childhood education institutions.
